Interestingly, when someone accuses you of gaslighting, they are the ones being manipulative. They hear an argument against their worldview and they not only dismiss it out of hand but they accuse you of doing something sinister. They accuse you of being badly motivated because you disagree with their viewpoint. Yet you know that you are motivated by a desire to refute a fallacious argument. They are in fact telling you that you are not even within your rational rights to question their viewpoint, which of course calls your sanity into question. So you are the one being gas lit!!
