It's sad that I only read articles like this once in a while. I have to look for them among a heap of cynical, partisan diatribes that try to shove down my throat the idea that the world has never been worse and it's all the fault of certain groups of people. It's good to know that I'm not alone in feeling appalled by the hatred and bigotry that I see masquerading under banners of "justice" or "speaking truth to power," or whatever ideologically-driven tool of linguistic manipulation happens to be in vogue. Great take on this stuff. I couldn't agree more.
